Wow!
You made it.
Congratulations on your own 10-Day Turnaround.
By implementing each of our Lifestyle and Business Creation Experiments you’ve had a chance to put into place tangible action items that will help put you on a new path for growth and success.
Remember- our special gift to you is…
that our Day 10 focus will be LIVE. During today’s LIVE conference call, Joshua and I will be sharing additional Insights and strategies for how you can continue to move forward and increase your success and wealth daily.- We are also going to be coaching you LIVE (and at no cost) during this call, so bring your questions you have from The 10-Day Turnaround.
-
Bottom line- the call is gonna be a ton of FUN and contain immensely valuable additional Insights and strategies so be sure to have it on our calendar for today.
And now back to our regularly scheduled Insight and Action Plan for today…
Today I want to share with you a special Insight that I think puts everything we’ve done so far in perspective and really captures what The 10-Day Turnaround - and life- is all about.
A few years ago, my business partners and I were all having dinner at a restaurant down in Florida where we were doing a big meeting of our 2X+1 Mastermind.
- Now, I was feeling pretty good ‘cuz we all had this commitment to each other where every time we did a conference call, if someone showed up even ONE MINUTE late, they had to put $100 in the pot, which we would use to pay for dinner the next time we all got together.
It was our way of showing respect for each other’s time and our commitment to each other to do what we said we were going to do when we said we were going to do it.
One of my biz partners had a proclivity for showing up for our calls a couple minutes late each time, so he was in the hole for about 600 bucks. Bottom line- it was gonna be steak and lobster that night… and the bill was on him.
So here we are all sitting around laughing and joking, enjoying an evening out before we hit it hard sharing our latest strategies and insights with our clients in The 2X+1 Mastermind the next day, but it was actually the group of us that LEARNED the biggest lesson that night…
…from the waiter.
He was a young guy, late teens or early 20s. We went through the usual pleasantries when he showed up at the table and as expected, one of my partners asked him, “So, how are you tonight?” full expecting to get the usual “Pretty good” or “OK” or “Doing fine” or whatever.
But what he said instead floored us all.
My partner asked him, “So, how are you tonight?”
And he replied…
“Grateful”
The laughter stopped and our private room went silent as the wisdom of his answer soaked in.
We asked him what he was grateful for and he said, “My family, my friends, my job, my education, my health” and on down the line.
Our reply:
A collective, “Wow”
Isn’t it amazing how a simple one word answer, “Grateful”, can change our entire perspective on the world?
I got to thinking about it later…
“Grateful” = Great + Full = full of great
And that’s truly how I feel today… ask me how I am today, and like our waiter in Florida, I will answer, “Grateful”…
Grateful for all those things that he mentioned… and…
- Grateful that technology has advanced to the point where it connected us and we got to spend some time together, all of us creating our “Experiments” throughout The 10-Day Turnaround… (Did you know you actually had people from 29 different countries from all over the world going through The Turnaround with you?)
- Grateful for the supportive environment we’ve created together where you can also share the fears and frustrations that you feel- and know others are encouraged when they read those things and know that they are not alone in feeling them, too.
- Grateful for the sense of community that has started to build as each of you share your insights and actions and successes with each other…
What kind of difference would it make in the world if we all answered “How are you?” with…
“Grateful”…
And truly felt that way each day?
Your Lifestyle Creation Experiment for today is to try that at least once. When someone asks how you are, answer “Grateful” and just observe what happens.
In the conversations we all have with ourselves each day, focus on what you are grateful for.
- Share with your fellow 10-Day Turnaround members something you are grateful for by posting a comment below - and share what your own most important learning or distinction was that you got from participating in The 10-Day Turnaround as well.
- And your Business Creation Experiment for today is to join us LIVE on our special conference call where I’ll be sharing with you the special additional business-building and income-producing Insights and Strategies I’ve prepared for you.
I look forward to talking to you “live” on our call today…
Grateful that we could all connect in our 10-Day Turnaround community, Jeff

The miracle of life is that we are NOT dead. I am in my 75th year and I now know more dead people than I do living people! Just imagine when I find myself alive at age 100. I am now desperately impoverished but lucky to have good health and overwhelming gratitude for the continuing miracle of life. I wish the same for you.

Grateful for the foresight to get involved in this 10 day turnaround, along with too many things to list on this page. See you….or should I say ‘hear’ you on the call tonight.

Wow! How awesome that one word can make you feel.
Thank you

I LEARNED SEVERAL NEW GREAT IDEAS FROM THE 10 DAY PROGRAM , WHICH MADE ME FEEL’ GRATEFUL’, BUT THE ONE I REALLY FELT MOST GRATEFUL ABOUT USING WAS THE HUMBLEING REALITY OF WHATS REALLY IMPORTANT IN MY LIFE, IT’S NOT THE MONEY, BUT THE THINGS WE LIKE TO DO WITH THE MONEY , TO ENJOY SPENDING WISELY AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE PEOPLE WE LOVE IN OUR LIVES,OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS, THAT ARE REALLY THE ONLY REASON FOR LIVING AND WORKING.THEY ARE THE MOST ‘GRATEFUL GIIFT ‘ WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN. THE REVIVAL OF SOME OLD IDEAS THAT WE HAVE FORGET ABOUT OVER THE YEARS AND NOW A OPPORTUNITY TO USE IN A POSITIVE MANNER , AND MOST THANKFULTO BE GRATEFUL! GRATEFUL, GRATEFUL, GRATEFUL ! I LOVE IT. GERRY R.

I’m grateful just to be alive and in good shape with all my needs taken care of. So many people think that we should ONLY be grateful for very sophisticated things such as a fancy car, a big house or a high-stakes job that they DON’T realize that it’s the SIMPLE things in life that make a difference NOT the sophisticated stuff. If that weren’t true, then why are there so many highly, “successful” people who end up commiting suicide? They have all the “sophisticated” stuff that society tells them they should have but they’re still not happy because they don’t have the “simple” stuff we all really need. So many people complain and get caught up in negativity because they hate their job, family members or where they live but they don’t realize that just being alive is all that really counts. This is what I’ve learned from this turnaround experience. As the waiter in your story said, JUST BE GREATFUL.

I AM GREATFULL TODAY BECAUSE MY NOT YET STARTED BUSSINESS IS SHAPING UP.I WILL BE OPENING UP SHOP ON THE IST OF DECEMBER.
October 2nd, 2008 at 5:23 am
I never go to bed at night until I have told the Lord how grateful I am for the roof over my head, a warm to bed to sleep at night and a plate of food to eat. I am grateful for the sunrise in the morning and listening to birds singing. I am grateful for my wonderful children and grandchildren and also the chance to take care of my 90 y/o mother who suffers with Dementia. And most of all I am grateful for the chance to have met Jeff who inspires me so and also those wonderful people whose comments I’ve had the priveledge of reading. Thank you all for the great 10 days and all your innermost feelings coming to the surface. It is good to be grateful because there is so much about life that we can be grateful for.
October 2nd, 2008 at 6:15 am
I am grateful that I live in this wonderful country, which, despite its flaws and shortcomings, is the greatest country in the world!! I am grateful that I was born in these exciting times. I am grateful to have a fabulous husband who is my best friend (we’ve been married 37 years) and for my four interesting children and my awesome grandchildren. I am grateful that I have the possibility of dragging myself up from my JOB to my own business where I can make a comfortable living so we can retire without worry.
Thanks, Jeff, for helping me delve into my habits and start to grow and make changes that will make my life even better!
Thank you God for all you have given me and all you have done for me.

I am grateful for my darling faithful wife of 46 years who has been with me through good time and bad times. I am grateful most of all for GOD in heaven that knows and cares about our every care and need.
I am privileged to be working fellow turnaround students from 29 countries.
October 2nd, 2008 at 7:31 am
I am Grateful, but not really qualified to comment here. When I entered the 10 day Turnaround, I fully intended to complete each day as sent. I was to attend my 40th class reunion 2 days after I started, with my laptop in hand; I set out to visit with fellow classmates that I haven’t seen for 40+ years.
I thought “free” Internet was something that was a way of life and would be available everywhere. Sadly I was wrong, small town and cities across the country must treat this as a luxury that they can no longer afford. Even in large name motels in rural areas this service has been terminated to stretch the bottom line to be able to stay in business.
I am Grateful that I am one of the 78 percent of the class that survived the 40+ years as many did not. I am Grateful to be healthy enough to make the 600 mile trip as many were not. I am Grateful that I had the resources to make the trip as many did not. I am Grateful for all the classmates that allowed me to share my life and rekindle lost friendships that many could not find.
I AM GRATEFUL TO BE ALIVE IN A CONTRY THAT OFFERS SO MUCH TO BE GRATEFUL FOR!
October 2nd, 2008 at 7:44 am
I’m grateful for the ability to hear new ideas and to have the support and ability, financial and physical, to act on them. Too often a good idea is never acted upon, for any number of reasons, and the opportunity is lost. I hope my “turnaround” frees my time to the point where I recognize and accept opportunities when I see them.
October 2nd, 2008 at 7:52 am
* Grateful that you chose to share your wisdom with us so freely and poignantly!
* Grateful for the fact that I live in one of the wealthiest countries in the world, so I can chase my dreams without worrying about where my next meal is coming from (bringing it from home, now, of course) and connect to people like you and the other turnarounders online
* HUGELY Grateful for the fact that I still have my eyesight to read and connect online, after nearly losing it a few years ago but lucking out with the best surgeon around
* Grateful I have a job that takes care of more than the necessities while I take what time is needed to grow enough that I can move beyond it.
* Grateful for my own little haven of home, the clean air and beautiful nature surrounding it.
* Grateful for… the list is just too long!
Just Plain Grateful.

Well I am grateful that I opened an e-mail about a dozen days ago asking me to sign up for the ten day turnaround. It has been an amazing ride!!!
October 2nd, 2008 at 9:05 am
I am grateful for so many things. My prayer everyday is thank you for everything, exactly the way it is, whether I understand it or not and whether I like it, or not. I was taught that gratitude is the aristocrat of emotions. It always brings me wealth of spirit.
Today I am grateful especially for this program and you both Jeff and Joshua. Many, many thanks.
October 2nd, 2008 at 9:07 am
Thanks too to Mary Gerston for this wonderful gift.
October 2nd, 2008 at 9:07 am
Beautiful! Christ said “In all things, give thanks.” This young man was living this commandment! Do you know that if you start each day by taking time to thank God for the day He has given you, you will far better appreciate that day as it progresses?
Most often, I answer “how are you” with “Well blessed, thank you.” “Grateful” is much better–causing one to stop and ponder. Their first thoughts are not about you preaching to them . That slowly soaks in. All glory to God.
October 2nd, 2008 at 9:10 am
It occurs to me that many are so filled with the old that there is no room for the new..I am reminded by the respose to “How are you” (Grateful), that new language in the response “GRATEFUL” created a totally unprepared for response inside of me, as it did in you.I am uplifted to hear that the how are you “Game” that we play was raised at the listening level, and deeper, in the hearts of all those who have heard this response to a level beyond the common of everyday.
Thanks for the real life story. Very uplifting and thought provoking..

Hey Jeff,
GREAT lesson today and what a wonderful way to present it!
Feeling grateful is easy to lose, especially when I’m feeling overwhelmed with a huge to-do list. You’ve given us all a great gift here with this lesson - instantly putting us in a state of gratitude without having to direct us to it.
Good reminder to consciously take time for this and your suggestion in the lesson is a fantastic way to establish it as a habit. Very cool.
Thanks mucho!

I’m grateful and thankful for family and friends and for all that I have! I’m grateful and feel very fortunate to have been a part of this course - it’s been awesome! And being able to share in the experience with everyone from so many countries has been wonderful and amazing! We really do have a lot in common, no matter from where we live, work, and play! I look forward to our call tonight!
October 2nd, 2008 at 9:56 am
Jeff,
Your generous insights have been very rewarding and I am very grateful for your time. I’m also grateful to Joshua and Tony.
I’m truly grateful for my close friends and family. Although I’m not wealthy, I am very grateful for the environment in which I live, a street where I feel free to walk and feel the sun warming my body in the crisp Autumn air.
I’m grateful that I have a devine relationship. When the cupboards are nearly bare, I look at what I have and know that I will always have enough. Although (when I’m alone), I sometimes rant and rave about my concerns, it is followed by this devine guidance that elevates my spirit and fills me with a peace of heart and mind.
Thank you, Jeff, for the opportunity to share my gratefulness.

“Grateful”
That word immediately takes my mind off what I haven’t accomplished and reminds me of what I have.

Hi Jeff,
I am really Grateful to you for having given me the chance of getting the 10 Day Turnaround. I really learnt lot of things.
I really appreciate the guy who said he was GRATEFUL.
Its a wonderful and fantastic word which explains everything.
Thanks a lot once again.

In these Ten Day You told me to Relax, it’s gonna be ok.This was a much needed break, and a breath of fresh air. Thanks Jeff. Although what I Learned was to act now. For now is all I haveTomorrow is reserved for the lazy. I am not lazy. Tomorrow is the day when evil becomes good. I am not evil. Tomorrow is the day when the weak get strong. I am not weak. Tomorrow is the day when the failure will succeed. I am not a failure. I will act now.
I am gratful our paths crossed. I am grateful for the lessons. I am Grateful to be alive

I too am grateful to Jeff for this terrific opportunity and for being told that it’s ok to take some time for myself and not feel guilty. Grateful too for all the wonderful words of wisdom, hope and understanding, that gave been offered by all the other people taking part. Without them, I’d probably still feel that everyone else except me, succeeds on the internet.
I’m truly grateful for being brought down to Earth and realizing that I have to stop wingeing and just get on with it!
October 2nd, 2008 at 10:57 am
I am grateful for one thing only, I am still alive! everything else has crashed around me
and this could possibly be my last entry into any computer . Yesterday I lost my home,
3 months ago I lost my career and business. I have enjoyed all of the insights during this 10days and will take the knowledge to the grave with me. It is just a shame that I will not get the chance to use the knowledge to build my business, hard to do when you dont have anywhere to set up your computer. I am not looking for pity here, there are many people out there going through the same thing I am. we do not need pity, we need change! and the only way this country is going to change is if the people stand up and do it themselves, it is pretty much a given that our government doesnt have a clue and the sad part is, We put them there!
Next time you vote, do your research and know who you are voting for! If you wouldnt have them over for dinner then don’t vote for them. Simple enough right? Pray for all that are going through what me and my family are right now and pray for yourself so you dont have to either! I am not a quiter so by Gods will and the creek dont rise, I will be back! God Bless.
October 2nd, 2008 at 11:58 am
Ditto on Ken’s response. I have been stuck, fighting despair, discouragement. I almost did not sign-up for “one more distraction”. I am so grateful that my higher power placed this in front of me and nudged me to follow-through. I am grateful for all the sharing on this blog, thank you one and all. I know I picked up a gem everyday. I am grateful for the dentist appointment that made me request to came into work late today…it gave me the opportunity to actually post a comment in real time!
All kidding aside, I am grateful for every day. I recently heard a quote, unknown source, that reminded me to cherish each day: Life is God’s (your, spiritual source) gift to us; What we do with it is our gift to Him. By applying the blank page, do-over concept, we get so many chances to do it right! Looking forward to tonight. Now, it’s back to the grind.

Having recently celebrated a milestone birthday, I found myself thinking deeply about how grateful I was to be able to open my eyes and breathe in the fresh air. I am grateful to be alive. I am deeply grateful for the blessings that I have received in my life. Yes, there have been dark days, but there have also been many days of light , hope and inspiration. These are things I choose to focus on. For whatever happened to me in my lifetime is in the past, and I can not afford to focus on looking back but rather looking forward. I am also so grateful that I was a lucky recipient of the email inviting me to take part in the 10-day turnaround challenge. It has been an awesome experience. I have learned so much in such a short amount of time from Jeff. I have also learned from my fellow team members and feel encouraged by not just their struggles (knowing that I am not alone) but their determination to be successful. I doubt I would call it second sight, but after reading the comments of many on our team, I feel that many of them will achieve the success they desire in meeting their goals. What I detect are feelings of commitment and absolute determination to reach their goals. In my mind, this equals achievement which equals success. Jeff, perhaps you would consider giving your participants the option to stay in touch after this session concludes. Perhaps you might consider giving your “team” the ultimate challenge….achieving their goals over the next 12 months and meeting with you face-to-face to celebrate our victories? Just a thought….think about it. Thank you again for this wonderful opportunity.

I am so grateful to get to know Jeff, what a change in my life he has given me. Jeff feels like a friend, you know ; you click on your e-mails, and look for any that are from friends, and you read those first. I look for Jeff’s. I am going to miss the daily lessons, but I will always remember the ones I learned. Thanks you Jeff
October 2nd, 2008 at 12:31 pm
never thought of that word like that. And I am grateful to you Jeff, for taking the time to pull us out of that quiiting stage… looking forward to a bright future. Thank and may God Bless You for caring.

I am grateful for my health, for my family, for the huge community that supports us - for my amazing partner and best friend and our beautiful gorgeous daughter who makes me laugh daily and fills my heart with hope.
October 2nd, 2008 at 1:02 pm
Grateful - really under rated word. We all have so much to be grateful for yet it goes unsaid for so long. Just to answer someone with “grateful” makes you feel fantastic…it clears the cloud and your fous leaves whatever wqas bothering you and immediately lifts you to a good place………thank you to that young man who is so wise.

I am 61 and live in Chicago (recently proclaimed the highest stress area of 40 metro areas in the USA) Chicago is still a world class city!
I am thankful for everything. I do thank God for everything! (This year I faced the loss of $500/month income; and just today I was told my income will go down another $80/month starting this month.) I am thankful knowing that I will replace that two and three times over!
I am ‘grateful’ for Joshua Shafran. I was privileged to first ‘meet’ Joshua in 1997 when he started his NPOD (Net Profits On Demand) coaching. I am grateful to Joshua because he has been very influential for my growth this year. (Joshua, I had my party last Sunday!) He is also the one paying the scholarship for Jeff to give us this 10-day turnaround series.
The most impacting thing I received from this 10-day turnaround series is the power of the “Magic Moment”.
October 2nd, 2008 at 1:40 pm
Jeff,
I am grateful for you and your mind. We have been together since 2000 and my life is far better now than before 2000. The biggest difference is that I now Consciously Create My Life in MY own IDEAL. The biggest insight from the 10 day program is the point on simplifying life and making space for growth.
My deepest thanks and gratitude.
October 2nd, 2008 at 2:25 pm
Hi Jeff! What a wonderful Insight you have given to us! I feel truly grateful and overflowing with love for you and my fellow 10 Day Turnarounders, and generally with all my global brothers and sisters. I do believe nothing happens by chance, there is a reason for everything, even if we cannot see it why, just now. I’m grateful for this understanding, and for everything that happened in my life. No experience is totally bad, you can always get something positive out of it, even if only see it by hind-sight. I feel a bit sad to have tome to our last day, but am grateful for the experience. Margit.

I am grateful for your pearls of wisdom and that someone paid for this course!!!
I liked the peak surrounded by the 2 valleys. (there are so many important pearls). this one I actually knew and it is always good to be reminded. yours is a variation on a theme. I often say how would you know you are having a good day unless you have a less than good day once in a while? yours makes sense for business and is a good visual.
Thanks . Great course.
October 2nd, 2008 at 6:18 pm
I am grateful for all the wonderful things that make life special; love, children, health, but I think that most importantly I’m thankful for my freedom to choose. We are all driving on our own road called life and it’s important for everyone to remember that we’re behind the wheel. I think that the ten day turnaround is a perfect way to show people that they have control and can make changes whenever necessary to improve their quality of life.

I am grateful I opened this e-mail series since it fit in helping me get out of my long time rut. everyone else has noted things I wrote so I’ve removed them so you have more space to find your gratitudes also
I send this with tremendous gratitude, for each moment whether of spilled coffee or song birds or the end of summer crickets chirping in the evening air.

I was asked the Question today in the supermarket “How are you today” and answered as you suggested “Grateful” I had been thinking about it since I read your message and was amazed by the chain reaction my reply to the cashiers question of “WHY?” caused.
The question was repeated and answered all the way down the queue of people who were eavesdropping on our conversation.
It was truly amazing the way it caused cpmplete strangers to take stock & realise that we do have so much to be grateful for and we should reflect on the positives in our lives and the negatives become manageable and can be turned around.. I missed the live call but am downloading the MP3 as I type .
I’m off to listen to it now
Thanks for a most interesting 10 days.

Grateful!!!! Every morning as the world turns on for the day, and when evening draws nigh, I an grateful. For the color of the sky, for the rainbows on high, for the 10DAYTURNAROUND
program which has given me insight in to a balanced life. Thanks to you gentlemen who so ably moved all your clients on to a new blank page.
